Mangalore, Jun 22: St Aloysius College celebrated its patron St Aloysius Gonzaga’s feast here in Loyola Hall, here on Thursday, June 21.
Fr Eugine Lobo, director of Fathima Retreat House, Mangalore was the main celebrant of the festal mass. Presenting the inspiring homily on the life of St Aloysius, he said that the values which the patron lived at the young age of 21 for the sake of plague stricken victims should motivate the youngsters to sacrifice life for others.
Fr Joseph Rodrigues, rector, St Aloysius Institutions, Fr Swebert D’Silva, principal, Fr Elwis Lewis, Fr Francis D Almeida and others were the concelebrants.
As many as 2,000 students of PUC and Degree College took part in the mass.
