Udupi: BJP to Organize 'Jail Bharo' Protest Against UPA

Udupi, Jun 21: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with Bharatiya Jana Sangh/ Indian People's Alliance will organize a 'Jail Bharo' protest in the district on Friday June 22.
 
At Udupi, five Vidhan Sabha centres will be included in this protest/ road block and bandh. The purpose of the protest is to show the UPA government that the public is not happy with the current political and economic status of India. “Jail Bharo” will help the common people to sort out issues such as corruption, petrol price hike etc
 
People including kids and elders will protest on the road against different issues of the government, said K Udhaya Kumar Shetty, district BJP president.
 
He said that during the Congress tenure at the central government, there have been several price hikes on different items. "BJP always reduced the prices in every tenure. 2004 onwards UPA Government did nothing for the public other than hiking prices. Day to day life of the common man has been extremely difficult in recent times, he said.
 
“Jail Bharo” will be organized on June 22 at various places in the district - Udupi DC office at 10 am, Kaup bus stand at 10 am, Karkala bus stand 9.30 am, Kundapur, Shastri Circle at 10 am, Baindoor, Hejamadi NH  bus stand at 10 am.

    Why Kids!!!!!? if anything unwanted took place children will be the first victims. any political party uses kids for such things are seriously not concerned about better future of our country. don't put innocent lives on risk in order to gain name and fame.

    31st May 2012 they called for Bharath Bundh against UPA Government for the hike in petrol price tomorrow road block, jail bharo. This is just an eye wash to the people of Mangalore and Dakshina Kannada. If they really concern much about the general public of Karnataka let the State government waive the tax of petrol like Goa government did, why State government is charging 32% of tax for petrol. Is it these people need petrol freely from Central Government JAI HO Kar Nataka

    Dear Jail Bhapo aspirants ,please do not forget that SC latest orders. The police can book you under different sections of law where you may have to stay in jail for few days. Once few people stay in jail and then nobody will try this drill.
