Mangalore, Jun 20: A four-day dental checkup and free treatment camp jointly organized by Nitte University NSS Unit, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Derlakatte and Spandana Trust, Jeppu was inaugurated by Sr Silvia Fernandez, superior of Infant Mary’s Convent, Jeppu.
Dr Rajendra Prasad, principal, A B Shetty Dental College was the chief guest of the occasion, and addressed the gathering.
Sr Evangeline, administrator of Spandana Trust delivered the welcome speech.
Shreelatha U A, progamme coordinator, NSS, Nitte University proposed the vote of thanks.
Victor Vas, coordinator, Spandana Trust, compeered the programme.
Nearly 1500 self- help group women in and around Mangalore under Spandana trust participated and benefited from the camp.
