Ajman, May 31: College of Dentistry, a constituent college of Gulf Medical University (GMU) organized ‘4th Annual Dental Conference on the Future of Modern Dentistry’ recently at GMU campus, here.
More than 100 dental doctors and healthcare professionals from all over UAE attended the conference. The conference was also attended by officials from the Emirates Dental Society like Dr Ramesh Bulbule.
The scientific session included pulpal regeneration: ‘Is It the Future of Endodontics?’, by Dr Marwa Sharaan, ‘Update in Composite shrinkage’, by Dr Ali Abdul Wahab Razooki, ‘Placing Posterior Composite, a Stressful Job!’, By Dr Hatem M El-Damanhoury, ‘Oral ulceration: differential diagnosis’, by Dr Sura Ali Ahmed Fouad, ‘Successful application of total-etch and self-etch techniques in adhesive Dentistry’, by Dr Arun Devarajan and ‘Evaluation of Mandibular Fracture Repair Using two Systems of Internal Rigid Fixation, Computerized Densitometric Assessment’, by professor Mohamed Said Hamed, dean, College of Dentistry, GMU.
Professor Mohamed Arifulla, dean admissions and registers, GMU presented mementos to the speakers.
The conference was accredited by the Ministry of Health for 6 CME hours and was organized by the College of Dentistry, as part of its professional development programs.
