Islamabad, May 29 (IANS): A US drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region Monday evening, killing at least four suspected militants, media reports said Tuesday.
The attack took place near Daigan, 40 km from Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan, Xinhua reported.
Witnesses said four people on the vehicle were killed on the spot.
Local TV channels said four drones were still hovering over the area.
This was the 17th drone strike in Pakistan this year. At least 121 people have been reportedly killed in 2012.
