Karnataka Janapada University hosts special event with Swamiji, discusses state-level folk arts comp

Mumbai (RBI), Jan 23: Dr TM Bhaskar, the vice-chancellor of Karnataka Janapada University, located in Gootagudi, Shiggaon Taluk, Haveri district, invited Swastishree Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Panditacharya Pattacharyavarya Mahaswamiji for a special session on January 21, 2025, at 3 pm.

During the event, the vice-chancellor shared details about the university's museum and its various activities.

The event was attended by esteemed faculty members of the university, including Dr Prem Kumar, Dr Venkanna Gowda, Dr Raj Shekhar, Shahajan Mudkavi, and assistant professor Bhuwan Akkole.

The program also saw the presence of Somashekar, Pramod SD, the principal of Ujire College, and Mahaveer Jain, a lecturer from Moodubidire.

In a productive discussion, Swamiji and the vice-chancellors deliberated on organizing a state-level folk arts competition at the Dhavalatraya Jain Kashi Trust Ashram in the near future.

The event concluded with the university honoring Swamiji by presenting him with a shawl and a memento as a token of respect and recognition for his valuable contributions.
