Udupi, May 21: A national level painting and photography exhibition, 'Shri Krishnaya Namaha' by Udupi Foundation will be held here on Wednesday May 23 at 5.00 pm at Udupi Art Gallery, Car Street.
Speaking to media persons, Udupi foundation president Vasant Rao said that the gallery will showcase some of the finest collection of artworks on Lord Krishna from a range of artists of Karnataka and rest of India.
The exhibition will include arts from 16 states, Rao informed. "Udupi foundation has a responsibility to encourage and promote the emerging talents and create awareness about art for the art lovers", added Rao. The exhibition will also provide a platform for interaction between artists and art-lovers.
Professionally managed solo and group art shows will be organized on the occasion. The art gallery will comprise of collection of art from different states and exclusive range of Indian contemporary art.
This is expected to be one of the biggest events in which 56 artists and 2 photographers will exhibit their work of art. The gallery also aims at promoting budding artists.
