Udupi: JD(S) District Minority Wing Celebrates 80th Birthday of Deve Gowda

Udupi, May 18: The minority wing of JD(S) celebrated the 80th birthday of JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda under the leadership of district JD(S) president Gulam Mohammed by offering prayers by Khadib of Jumma Masjid Darga, Kannangar–Hejamady, near here, on Friday May 18.
 


Addressing the gathering, Mohammed said that Gowda has helped the minority community whenever they faced any grievances.  He also hoped that Gowda lives long to be at the service of people. Sweets were distributed on the occasion.
 
The state JD(S) minority unit chief secretary S P Ummer Farouq, district secretary Hamza Hajamady, Narayan Bhandary, Iqbal Ucchil, and Ashraf Kodi were present.
