Mangalore: 'Ajji Sakida Pulli' Collection of Stories by Hamza Malar Released

Mangalore, Apr 28: A collection of stories titled ‘Ajji Saakida Pulli’ authored by journalist Hamza Malar was released at a programme in Press Club here on Saturday April 28.

Kendra Kannada Sahitya Parishat former president Harikrishna Punaroor released the book and said that the habit of reading literary books should be inculcated in the younger generation as there has been decline in the number of readers over the years.
 
DK district KSP former president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, DKDWJU president P B Harish Rai, Al-Wafa charitable trust treasurer B A Akbar Ali, author Hamza Malar were present.
 
Hamza Malar has been in the journalism field for more than a decade. Born into an agriculture-cum-business family in the small village of Arastana, Pavoor, Hamza has so far written around 200 stories and more than 30 books including novels. He is involved in literary work in Kannada, Beary and Tulu languages.
