Udupi, Apr 24: Under the joint auspices of ZP, district health and family welfare department, and taluk office of health officer, the conferring ceremony of the taluk-level awards under National Rural Health Abhiyan programme was held at Mahajan Hall, Hotel Kediyoor, on Monday April 23.
TP president Devdas Hebbar inaugurated the programme. MLA Raghupati Bhat, in his presidential address, said that the award ceremony is being organized with the objective of recognizing quality service by employees working in the state-run healthcare sector. “Working in state-run hospitals is challenging and there are a few committed employees who excel in their professions. The district has excellent healthcare in the state,” said Bhat.
Baby Poojary, Dr Ramachandra Bayar, Dr Anand Naik, Dr Antony Suvares, Dr Nagabhushan Udupa, and Manjunataiah were the chief guests.
Entrepreneur Ranjan Kalkura and Swapna Suresh were the guests of honour on the occasion.
