Kasargod: Kerala Yatra to Create Awareness on Humanity Sets Off

Kasargod, Apr 13: ‘Kerala Yatra’ was inaugurated with the mission of creating awareness on human values led by Kantapura A P Abubakker Musliar on Thursday April 12.

Samasta Kerala Jamautul Ulama president Sayyed Abdul Rehman Kunhi Koya Tangal Al Bukhari Ullaland A P Abubakker Musliar flagged off the Yatra during the programme held near city’s new bus stand on Thursday.

Union minister of state for agriculture K C Thomas was the chief guest on the occasion.
Former union minister C M Ibrahim, Sayyed Ali Bapaki Tangal, K P Hamza Musliyar Chittari, Sayyed Ibrahim Khaliul Bukhari, Sayyed Zainul Abidin, Sayyed Umarul Farouq Al Bukhari, A K Abdul Rehman Maliyakkal, Yousuf Ali Bukhari Tangal, Yahya Bukhari Tangal, Shihabuddin Tangal Androt, Sayyed Turab Tangal, Abdul Rehman Imbicchikoya Tangal, Ibrahim Pookunhi Tangal, Sayyed Fazal, Koyamma Tangal Koora, Ponmala Abdul Khader Musliar, state leaders K Veluttambu, C H Kunjambu, Mangalore south MLA U T Khader, P A Ashrafali, Aziz Kadappura, Padoor Kunhamu Haji, and Ajit Kumar Azad were present on the occasion.

After ‘Ziyarat’ religious celebrations that were held at Ullal Dargha in Mangalore, the motorcade arrived at Talapady on the Kerala–Karnataka boundary and continued its journey passing through Manjeshwar, Uppala, and Kumble to arrive in the city. Thousands of people witnessed the inaugural programme.

The Yatra will cover 14 districts across Kerala and conclude at Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday April 28.
