Muscat: Scintillating Sunidhi Weaves Magic at Live Concert

Muscat, Apr 1: Sunidhi Chauhan - Live in Concert, one of the most successful and entertaining events of the year was presented by Ashok Suvarna’s NPA Events at Qurum Amphi-theatre and enjoyed by packed audience on Friday March 30.
As one of the music lover rightly said, Sunidhi Chauhan - Live in Concert - the musical extravaganza set the music lovers in Muscat on fire, from start to the end. It was a great show and we will remember it for many days to come.
The evening commenced at 8 pm with a welcome note by Darren, an well-known DJ of FM Radio. Ashok Suvarna, managing director of NPA Events welcomed the audience. The show started with delightful numbers like Soniye, Tum Mile, Tera Hone Laga Hoon and Tainu Main Love Karda by Rakesh Maini. He also presented old numbers like Badan pe Sitare which was thoroughly enjoyed by full audience.
It was Sunidhi Chauhan’s entry to the electrifying stage brought thunders and lightening in the full house of Qurum Amphi-theatre. Dressed in a green chiffon top and trendy jeans, the singer conquered the hearts and minds of the audience with her high voltage performance and graceful voice. Be it the fast numbers or the tuneful romantic rhythms, the young and talented singer kept the audience engrossed till the end. Famous for her effortless singing and modulations of her voice to any type of singing, she gave impeccable rendition of the songs that has topped the Bollywood chartbusters. Raat ke Dai Baje, Marjani Marjani, Desi Girl, Ainvayi from Band Baaja Baraat and Mahiya - were some of the numbers that rocked the venue.
Sound engineer Mark Rodrigues and light specialist Roosvelt D'Souza who were specially flown from India gave a perfect touch to show with the technical perfection. The troupe of musicians including some of the well known artistes of the Bollywood industry, Shahid Mohamed Yaqub Ansari, Soumya Seal, Rohan Chawathe Nandu, Prasad Kulkarni Vasant, Parikshit Rathod Prakash, Chaitanya Adkar Shivram and Ankeet Bham Kishore inspired the whole program with a lovely blend of music.
Indian Ambassador to Oman J S Mukul was the chief guest of the evening. He congratulated NPA events for their efforts in presenting such an event. Kiran Asher, recipient of this year’s Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award was honored by Sunidhi Chauhan during the event.
It was Ashok Suvarna, a Mangalorean and successful entrepreneur in Oman who formulated the whole arrangement and made every effort to present a great entertainment and a great show. Indeed, he lead the preparation of the whole show and worked day and night. Everything in the program was meticulously planned and executed. There was no confusion at the entry gates. Ample parking was made available. The show was houseful but arrangements were made to have smooth movements in the theatre. Everyone enjoyed the show with a peace of mind.
The host of the show, Raviraj Kande Suresh, gave a humorous presentation of mimicry impersonation of Bollywood’s renowned actors like Ashok Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, Vinod Khanna, Shatrugan Sinha and Shah Ruh Khan.
