Lokayukta Police Gives Clean Chit to Renukacharya

Bangalore, Apr 1 (PTI): Lokayukta Police on Saturday gave a clean chit to Excise Minister M P Renukacharya in a case pertaining to alleged violation of excise rules.

Lokayukta police today filed a memo before the court stating that no case was made out against Renukacharya for alleged violation of excise rules as claimed by Deputy Commissioner of Excise Mohan Kumar.

Mohan Kumar had told the court on March 24 that 16 bottles of foreign liquor seized from his office in a raid by Lokayukta police were meant for Renukacharya.

The memo was filed by Lokayukta Police Inspector Narasimhamurthy.

The Lokayukta Court judge N K Sudhindra Rao then adjourned the matter to April 9, for Renukacharya's advocate C G Sunder to file objections.

    Karnataka excise department allows only 6 liters of IMFL in a person’s residence.
    24 liters in 16 bottles of imported liquor was found in this Ministers office.
    Do our ministers have different rules for SEX, LIQUOR and PORN?
    Karnataka people have to decide do we give them a clean chit or a clean kick?

    Now when Lokayuktha quashed allegations against Renukacharya, see the response !!!! They started blaming Lokayuktha.

    Technically there is no witness to prove Renu made 'by order' to bring foreign ENNE to Yeddy's dissent gathering in a RESORT !In between, Officer, Mohan Kumar is causality.The verdict is in expected lines as most of the wronged BJP Ministers MLAs virtually absolved of any wrong doing.
