New Delhi, March 25 (IANS): Harsh Pati Singhania, managing director, J.K. Paper Ltd and Rajan Bharti Mittal, vice chairman and managing director of Bharti Enterprises, have taken over as the president and vice president of ICC India respectively.
ICC India is the Indian Affiliate of the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the world business organization with presence in over 90 countries.
Singhania, 50, a fourth-generation industrialist is a commerce graduate from Calcutta University. He did his MBA from University of Massachusetts, US.
Currently Singhania is serving as a member on the executive/managing committees of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Indian Paper Manufacturers Association, UK-India Business Leaders Climate Group, Indo-French CEO Forum, Indian Government-Industry Task Force and Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute among others.
Rajan Bharti Mittal who will be the vice president of ICC India is currently also serving in a number of leadership roles in different industry bodies.
He is on the board of trustees of Brookings Institution, the world's oldest and most prestigious think tank.
Mittal has also served as the president of FICCI for 2010-2011 and is currently a member of its Executive and Steering Committees.
