Panaji, Mar 6 (IANS): The ruling Congress was trailing in Goa with victories in just two seats as opposed to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which had won seven seats after three hours of counting Tuesday.
The Congress is leading in one other seat, while the BJP is leading in six.
Goa Vikas Party (GVP), a regional party, has won two seats, while one independent has emerged victorious.
Goa voted March 3 for a 40-member assembly.
