Bantwal, Feb 28: 'Brahmakalashotsav' and 'Nemotsav' will be held at Shiva Kshetra, Goltamajalu, Kalladka, from Saturday March 3 to Monday March 5.
Various religious celebrations will be held at Shiva Kshetra here throughout on Saturday and Sunday March 4 beginning from 8 am.
Swami Brahmanand Saraswati of Rama Kshetra, Kanyady, and Swami Mahabala of Chamundeshwari Kshetra, Kaniyoor, will conduct a religious discourse on Sunday at 6 pm.
MLA B Ramanat Rai will preside over the programme.
Coastal Development Authority chairman B Nagaraj Shetty, former MLA Shakuntala Shetty, Bantwal taluk Bunts Sangh president Gangadar Rai Bolantoorguttu and Goltamajalu gram panchayat president Monappa Devasya will be the chief guests on the occasion.
Laxmisha Bagladka, Sullia–Panja, will deliver the religious talk during the programme.
'Bhajana Mangalotsav' will be held from 6 am to 6 pm on Sunday while Sadhvi Matanandamayee of Odiyoor will grace the occasion.
Kerala's renowned Guruvadya Sangam of Pallikere will present a devotional music programme.
'Satyoda Siri', a Tulu drama by playwright Kadri Navaneet Shetty, directed by Niranjan K Salian and Nagesh Devadiga Kadri will be staged by Kadire Kalavidaru drama troupe, as part of cultural programme. It will be sponsored by Laxman V Shetty Yeyyady and Ignatius Saldanha Mangalore.
'Ganahoma' and 'Sanjeevini Mrutyunjayahoma' will be held at 7 am at the temple on Monday. Brahmakalashabisheka will be held at 10.45 am on Monday.
The religious discourse will be held by Guru Devanand Swami of Odiyoor Mutt and Vikyatanand Swami of Hosmaru Ballottu Mutt on Monday at 10.45 am.
Dr Vasu Shetty B C Road will preside over the programme. Former MLA K Padmanabha Kottari, former MP Vinayakumar Sorake, former MLA K Jayaram Shetty, and Mangalore entrepreneur A J Shekar will be the chief guests on the occasion.
The 'Yakshagana Taalamaddale' will be staged by Yaksha Kaveri troupe from Madikeri at 3 pm on Monday. 'Ranga puja' will be held at 6 pm on Monday.
Bharatanatyam will be staged by Vidhushi Vidhya Manoj troupe of Kalaniketana Natya Shaale, Beltangady, at 7 pm on Monday. It will be sponsored by Dr Manoj Kalladka.
Free food offerings to devotees will begin from 9 pm on Monday. Nemotsav will be held at 9.30 pm on Monday.
