Mangalore: Palemar Receives Strong Backing Despite Tainted Image

Mangalore, Feb 13: The work done by Krishna Palemar as district-in-charge minister is praiseworthy and will always be remembered, said Krishna Palemar Abhimani Balaga (fans club) convenor Kadambodi Mahabala Poojary.
He was addressing the gathering at a mega convention organized by Palemar’s supporters.
Speaking about the way Palemar came up in life, Poojary said that he comes from a poverty-stricken family. But sheer hard work and commitment made him the minister and he discharged his duties in disciplined manner. "Unable to face the allegations and insult against him he resigned from ministry but soon he will be freed from all the wrong things and will be back as the district-in-charge minister," he said.
Former mayor Shankar Bhat said that he was very sure of the fact that Palemar was innocent. "He will soon come out clean," he said, and added that Palemar had played a vital role in BJP’s victory in Mangalore.
Vishwanath Shetty of BMS Association pointed out that Palemar had released a fund of 400 crores for the development of Mangalore roads and he was a role model as a minister in-charge.
The supporters in large numbers gathered on the occasion.
