Mangalore, Jan 15: The crowd at Mangala Stadium in the city had the time of their lives with popular band Euphoria setting the stage on fire with pulsating numbers and lively music, at the musical nite held as part of the 17th National Youth Festival on January 14.
The electrifying atmosphere was charged even more by the presence of a large number of young people who infused high energy and swung along to the beats emanting from the stage.
Euphoria, a band of 9 members led by the charismatic Palash Sen received overwhelming response from the jam-packed audience, who not only cheered them on, but also sang and screamed and danced to their tunes, literally. Dressed in an eye-catching costume, Palash wove such magic that it had crowd screaming encore.
Numbers like 'Bhoola jahan', 'Tu hi meri zindagi', 'Tum' and many more reverberated, sending the audience into 'euphoria'. The anthem of the heroic 'Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo' enveloped the evening with its intensity.
'Maayri', perhaps Euphoria's most famous number, brought thunderous applause from the listeners. A melodious blend of drums and high-pitched guitar filled the evening air.
Overwhelmed by the reception that Mangalore gave him, Palash thanked the audience, who didn't seem to want the evening to get over.
