Udupi: West Bengal truck driver jumps to death from fourth floor in Manipal

Udupi, Jan 21: A 24-year-old man died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor in Manipal on January 20.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Mohant, a truck driver from West Bengal involved in transporting concrete materials.

The reason for his tragic act remains unknown.

Manipal police official ASI Nagesh Naik and investigation assistant Sukumar Shetty conducted legal formalities at the scene.

The body was later moved to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination with assistance from social worker Nityananda Volakadu.

A case has been registered at the Manipal police station, and an investigation is underway.
