Mangaluru, Feb 28: Srinivas University Institute of engineering & technology has initiated a proud tradition of organizing Tech Yuva, a national level techno cultural and sports fest in the year 2013 with the aim of providing platform to showcase the talents of younger generation. This year we will be organising 'Tech Yuva-25' on March 11 (Tuesday) and March 12 (Wednesday).
The 1st edition of Tech Yuva was organised twelve years ago. Since beginning, every year, around 500 participants from different engineering colleges from Karnataka and nearby States (Goa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala) have participated in the event.
Avinash Rao (founder & CEO, iSpAgro Robotics Pvt Ltd Bengaluru and founder & CEO, Agrileaf Exports Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru) will be the chief guest of the inauguration of Tech Yuva on March 11.

Cultural extravaganza 'Kalaspandana-25' will be held on Thursday, March 13.
Dr Ashajyothi Rai (renowned social worker, chairperson of Aasare Charitable Trust, president of AYUSH foundation, director of Maladi Estates Private Limited) will be the chief guest of this event.
Shashiraj Rao Kavoor (advocate, lyricist, dramatist, script writer) will be the guest of honor.
Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University will preside over both the functions.

Theme of Tech Yuva this year is artificial intelligence, and theme of Kalaspandana-25 is women empowerment and nari shakti. This year we will be celebrating Kalaspandana and a week-long competition to mark the celebration of International Women’s Day together.
The fest promises to bring together engineering students from affiliated colleges from different parts of Karnataka. This year, we are expecting 1,000 plus participants for this mega event with a gathering of around 3,500 plus engineering students over two days. A wide range of Technical competitions namely tech spark, brand builder, bug bounty, purrfect code, prompt engineering, the business master, technical debate, techno tangle, logo quiz, start-up pitch, dodge ball, geo guesser, robo war, ideathon, line follower, tech quiz, just a minute, project expo, logo art and code reverse competitions will be conducted on the first day (March 11).
Cultural and sports events namely dance battle, group dance, meme contest, object drawing, short film, volley ball, football, reel making, photography, anime quiz, free fire, fashion show, treasure hunt, kabaddi, badminton, cricket, junk art jam, CAD battle, BGMI, painting, throwball, mock press, etc will be conducted on the second day (March 12) for engineering, diploma, ITI and first grade degree students of other colleges. Science model exhibition and contest will be organized for PU students on March 12. Health fest (discovering the future of healthcare) for PU students will be organised by Allied Health Science on March 11 and 12. Sports events will be organised on both the days. Tech Yuva-25 includes more than 50 different varieties of competitions in technical, cultural, literary, sports and variety entertainment category.
