Kuwait, Jan 9: The Executive Committee of Indian Muslim Welfare Association (IMWA) held their regular meeting at Anjappar Restaurant, Farwaniya on Saturday January 7.
Feedback of recently held events were collected from members and discussion about their future programmes was the main agenda.
Senior IMWA members like Dr Mirza Umair Beg and Mukhtar Marouf graced the meeting with their presence and gave valuable advice.
They reminded that IMWA was established with a noble aim of serving the community and education being the first priority. Mukhtar Marouf said that the programmes shall be of community interest to attract new members.
IMWA President Mohammed Manshauddin said that they do intend to conduct Education oriented programs for the benefit of the community, especially for the children and ladies. And the first such program an Educational Meet and Lectures series will be organized shortly.
He also informed that a new Website will be launched incorporated with new technology for the convenience of the organizers as well as IMWA members etc.
The meeting concluded with prayer offered by AbdulAzeem Majgaonkar.
