Bantwal: Absconding accused arrested after 12 years

Bantwal, Dec 2: Police have arrested an accused who had been absconding for 12 years without attending court hearings in a case involving the forceful entry into a house and assaulting its occupants.

The arrested individual, Ansar, a resident of Madhwa in Kavalapadoor village, was accused of entering a house in Kavalakatte and assaulting its occupants in 2012 following an argument related to astrology. Despite a case being registered, he evaded court proceedings for over a decade.

Ansar was apprehended in Beltangady by a team from Bantwal rural police station, led by inspector Shivakumar and supported by PSIs Harish, M R Murthy, and Lolaksha, along with head constable Ganesh Prasad and constables Praveen, Shiddappa, Shivananda Maddi, and Nagaraj. The accused was subsequently produced before the Bantwal court.

    this is clear indication that the Lord Siddaraya led Congress govt is secular.
