Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 3: St Anne Church, Kelarai came alive with laughter and joy as students from kindergarten to class 10 gathered for an evening of games and excitement. The event was thoughtfully organised by the dedicated teachers of the parish under the guidance of its beloved parish priest, Fr Sylvester D’Costa.

The evening began with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a memorable gathering. The children enthusiastically participated in a variety of games and activities, each designed to engage and entertain students of all age groups. From energetic outdoor challenges like football, volleyball, cricket to age old games like lagori, the event offered something for everyone.

The teachers along with the parish priest worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth execution of the programme, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. Fr Sylvester’s encouraging words, warm up exercises and cheerful presence added to the spirit of the evening, making it truly special for the young participants.

The evening ended with a rhythmic movement by the children to the latest songs.

This joyful evening not only brought smiles to the faces of the children but also strengthened the bond between the church, its students, and the parish community. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from shared experiences and the blessings of unity in faith.

The programme ended with the universal prayer Our Father.
