Kasargod: Nepali worker dies after falling into pig farm waste pit

Kasargod, Nov 30: In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old worker from Nepal died after falling into a pig farm waste pit at Chowki Paichchal, on the outskirts of the city, on Friday, November 29 evening.

The deceased is identified as Mahesh.

The fire and rescue personnel, along with the police, rushed to the spot and retrieved Mahesh from the pit, but he could not be saved.

The body has been shifted to the mortuary at Kasargod General Hospital. Mahesh had reportedly joined work at the farm only on Friday.
