Msgr Fr Maxim Noronha delivered a profound sermon, emphasizing the faithful as the true temple of God. In his homily, he described the church not merely as a structure for worship but as a congregation of believers seeking God’s grace. Quoting Jesus’ reference to His body as a temple, Fr Maxim highlighted that God resides not in buildings of stone but in the hearts of the faithful. He urged the community to live as a temple of God by fostering unity, performing good deeds, and embracing the synodal spirit of journeying together as a community without discrimination. Such a life, he said, would attract grace and miracles.
At the conclusion of the service, Fr Onil D’Souza expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the smooth functioning of the church and its administration. Special felicitation was accorded to Denis Pereira and Praveen D’Souza of fortune promotors for their contributions to renovating the adoration chapel.
