Nominations invited for 'Vaddarse Raghurama Shetty' Social Justice Journalism Award

Bengaluru, Oct 3: The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited nominations for the prestigious 'Vaddarse Raghurama Shetty' Social Justice Journalism Award. The award, which recognizes contributions to journalism in the field of social justice, includes a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh and a memento.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Journalists with at least 15 years of experience in print or electronic media are eligible to apply.
  • Preference will be given to senior journalists.
  • Applicants must have published 10 to 15 articles related to social justice or produced special reports, discussions, or other programs on the subject.

The last date for submission of nominations is October 21, 2024.

Nominations can be submitted to the Commissioner, Department of Information and Public Relations, at No. 17, Vartha Soudha, Bhagawan Mahaveer Road, Bengaluru - 560001, or via email at tsraward@gmail.com.
