Kasargod: Missing girl’s body found in well

Kasargod, Sep 27: The mortal remains of Ashwathi (17), a girl who went missing earlier in the day, were found in a well at Bedadka on Thursday evening.

Ashwathi, a local resident and Plus Two student at Kundamguli Government Higher Secondary School, was reported missing on Thursday morning. Her family filed a complaint with the police after she failed to return home by evening.

Following the complaint, her family began searching for her and discovered her body in a well near an unoccupied house. Fire service personnel retrieved the body from the well. The police are conducting further investigations.

Ashwathi's body is currently at the Kasargod General Hospital mortuary and will be handed over to her family after the post-mortem examination.

    real kujuma kodial,without knowing the facts dont give your stupid comments.Who knows how she came in well ?Did anyone help?or she committed suicide ?What reason etc.It will hurts her family however it was.Pray first for her soul or heartfelt sympathy to her family.They lost their child.RIP
