Udupi: Moving car catches fire due to short circuit

Udupi, Sep 25: A moving car suddenly caught fire due to a short circuit in the city on Tuesday, September 24.

The incident occurred on the road in front of MTR Hotel in Udupi. A senior citizen from Brahmagiri was driving his old Alto car when a sudden short circuit occurred. He immediately pulled over and exited the vehicle.

The fire quickly spread to the front of the car. Locals alerted the fire department, who arrived on the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.

It is believed that the short circuit originated from the car's battery. The incident caused a temporary traffic jam, and the front of the car was damaged in the fire.

    I feel Indian cars don't follow proper safety measures, and that's why accidents are happening due to fire. We must make sure all our cars are fireproof. Adequate precautions and measures must be taken to prevent this kind of fire-related accidents. We see and hear car fire accidents almost every day in India.     Short circuit? In the car? It happens only in India ! In the west, there are two motor veicles for every person. If this story of short circuit is true, then there should be at least 10 deaths in europe alone. Do you agree Rita-ji from Germany? Audi, BMW and Volkswagon should be on fire everyday.

    @Nayaka maam...., it happens only in India b'coz of fake in India... unless it's proved that the item is from world's number 1 fake manufacturer China..
