Udupi: Accused absconding for 33 years arrested

Udupi, Sep 23: The city police have arrested an accused who had been absconding for 33 years.

Mohammed Basheer, a resident of Renjala in Karkala, is the accused now in police custody.

Basheer was apprehended from the Central Market area in Mangaluru here on September 21. 

The operation to arrest the accused was undertaken by head constable Suresh, constable Hemant Kumar, Shivakumar, and Gaddiah Hiremath, who were on special duty.
