Bantwal: New executive committee of PWD Contractors' Association inaugurated

Bantwal, Jul 10: The inauguration ceremony of the new executive committee of the Bantwal Taluk PWD Contractors' Association took place at Hotel Rangoli in BC Road.

Inaugurating the event, MLA Rajesh Naik expressed his hope that the association would help address the contractors' issues and enable them to secure more projects through quality work. He wished for the financial strength of the contractors through the association.

Former Minister B Ramanath Rai, speaking on the occasion, noted that contractors face numerous challenges and play a significant role in the development of the taluk. He emphasized the importance of completing projects within the stipulated timeframe to benefit the public.

The newly appointed president of the Contractors' Association, Shailesh Poojari Kuchigudde, stated that the primary priority of his tenure would be the welfare of all members.

The president of the district Contractors' Association, Puttur Radhakrishna Naik, presided over the function.

Among the attendees were assistant executive engineer GK Naik, Taluk Panchayat EO Mahesh Kumar Holka, former president of the Contractors' Association Nagesh Kulal, assistant executive engineer Jai Prakash, junior engineers Krishna Manappa, Jagadish Nimbalkar, and Nagesh, assistant engineer Gauri Digambar Gaonkar, former secretary of the Contractors' Association Sameer Pajir, the current secretary Karunakar P, and contractor A H Khadar.

Five senior contractors, along with former president Nagesh Kulal and former secretary Sameer, were honored at the event.

S Narayan welcomed the guests, Balakrishna Cherkala proposed a vote of thanks, and Dinesh Suvarna Rai compered the programme.
