Dubai : Jerald Lobo is President of New Association ‘Vamanjooreans UAE'

Media Release

Dubai, Oct 31: Parishioners belonging to St. Joseph the Workers Church, Vamanjoor, Mangalore, formed an association to bring together all parishioners residing in UAE under one family and named it ‘Vamanjooreans UAE’.  The formation of this association was a long cherished dream of a few enthusiastic parishioners.

The main objective of this association is to provide a helping hand to the parishioners who are in need of help for education, jobs, health treatment or any basic necessities, and also to promote unity among parishioners.

A meeting was held recently and Jerald Lobo was unanimously elected president of Vamanjooreans UAE and Johnson Monteiro has been elected as the vice-president.

The following personnel were nominated as office-bearers of the new committee:

Secretary – Laveena Monteiro
Treasurer – Ronald Serrao
Sports Secretary – Linal Monteiro
Cultural secretary – Mario Rego
IT/Media – Roshan Vas
