Abu Dhabi: UAE, Tunisia Discuss Bilateral Cooperation


Abu Dhabi, Oct 31 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates and Tunisia have discussed bilateral cooperation in the social sector.

The meeting between Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, UAE's minister for Social Affairs and Tarek Baltayeb, the Tunisian ambassador to the UAE, was held Sunday at the former's office.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of strengthening them, especially in the field of social welfare.

Al Roumi, congratulated Baltayeb and the Tunisian people on the success of the elections to the National Constituent Assembly.

The Tunisian ambassador expressed his admiration of the UAE's elections to the Federal National Council.
