Mangaluru, Jun 7: St Aloysius Higher Primary School celebrated a proud moment with the inauguration of its pre-nursery school on June 5. The ceremony was inaugurated by the correspondent, Fr John D’Souza SJ. The rector of St Aloysius institutions, Mangaluru Fr Melvin Pinto SJ, blessed the nursery classroom. The headmistress Jositta Noronha, along with the staff and tiny tots, were present to grace the occasion.
After the inauguration, Fr Melvin noted that once a child enters St Aloysius, they can continue their education up to the completion of a postgraduate course.
Fr John D’Souza SJ said that any chance for the betterment always needs to be welcomed.
The newly inaugurated classroom is equipped with modern amenities designed to enhance the learning experience. The classroom, styled as play area is pre-loaded with various learning kits, toys, books, posters, and do-it-yourself manuals etc. Additionally, the classroom is equipped with digital learning aids such as the smart board to facilitate audio/video lessons, making learning more enjoyable and engaging. Headmistress Jositta Noronha expressed gratitude to alumnus advocate Ajay Noronha for his generosity towards this venture.
The inaugural programme was compered by Liya D’Souza.
This day also marked the reopening of LKG and UKG classes. The kindergarten teachers and staff warmly greeted the children on their first day back, who were excited to return after the summer vacation.
On June 6, was the first day for the pre-nursery children. The teachers welcomed the kids to classrooms and created a warm atmosphere. Sweets were distributed to make the day special.
