Bengaluru, May 11: The BJP leader Devaraj Gowda, who had claimed that he had written about the Hassan sex scandal involving JDS MP Prajwal Revanna to State BJP Chief B Y Vijayendra last year, has now started blaming the Congress leaders for circulating the pen drives containing video recordings of the rape and sexual abuses, said Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
“The very fact that Devaraj Gowda, the advocate from Hassan, who was first approached by Karthik, Prajwal Revanna’s driver for several years and had shared the pen drives containing explicit video recordings of the rapes and sexual abuses, suddenly held a press conference and brought up names of Congress leaders raised suspicions of something fishy,” Shivakumar said in a post on ‘X’.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who has been accused by JDS leader H D Kumaraswamy of being the “mastermind” for widely circulating the pen drives containing the sexual abuses by his own nephew Prajwal Revanna, claimed that the “script and direction” for Devaraj Gowda’s allegations were of BJP high command and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
“It is a grand strategy of Amit Shah to finish JDS and target Congress leaders in one stroke,” Shivakumar said and declared that, “BJP will not be able to disturb even one hair of Congress leaders,” asking the JDS leaders to understand the scheming.
The sex scandal and circulation of pen drives containing the video recordings of rapes and sexual abuses of women by Prajwal Revanna is a strategy of the BJP and Kumaraswamy, Shivakumar said.
“BJP is an unethical party with no sense of morality and a blot on politics,” he added.
