Bengaluru, Mar 25: Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his government’s failures during the last 10 years, Karnataka’s IT/BT and Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge has ridiculed Modi for seeking votes 10 years back by promising a rosy future and now after 10 years is harking upon the past with hardly any achievement during the last 10 years.
Even after 10 years of Modi rule, the promise of Acche Din has not materialised, 2 jobs every year are not created, no economic equality, no solution to price rise and inflation, inability to arrest the fall in the value of rupee or doubling of income of famers and attempting to suppress the electoral bond data from State Bank of India as against the promise of bringing back stashed black money and Swiss bank details.
In a sarcastic tone, the minister said: “It is shameful and great insult that these people seeking votes invoking the name of Ram, who is known to keep his promise.’’
