Udupi, Mar 22: "Language is an integral aspect of life. The elders in my family have always expressed concern about my proficiency in language. I am committed to addressing the public of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru by delivering speeches in Parliament," stated Kota Srinivasa Poojary, the BJP candidate for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency on Friday March 22.
In response to comments made by Congress Lok Sabha candidate Jayaprakash Hegde regarding language, Poojary said, "Within six months of assuming office as an MP, I will deliver speeches in Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi commands respect globally, and it is a matter of great pride for me. I urge the voters of the constituency to support me in strengthening the hands of PM Modi, who has demonstrated exceptional leadership over the past decade."
"In a democratic setup, the presence of only one winning candidate cannot facilitate parliamentary sessions. When discussing leadership, we will advocate for Modi's leadership. I have spearheaded numerous revolutionary changes in my four terms as an MLC and one term as a minister. Drawing from my extensive experience, I am confident of achieving unprecedented progress upon assuming the role of MP. I refrain from engaging in personal attacks and prefer to focus on the task at hand," he said.
