As part of the resolution made during the Kalasha Puja at the Sri Rama Mandir in Ayodhya, the businessmen of Udupi, including Rajagopal Acharya, the owner of Lakshmi Electricals, decided to build a house for the family of Mallaashree Bhat through the auspices of the Ashray Charitable Trust (R).
The Chairman of the Ashray Charitable Trust, P Vasant Bhat, chaired the meeting. Former MLA K Raghupati Bhat of Udupi, the treasurer of the Ashray Charitable Trust, Satish Kulal, and its members Sandhya Ramesh, Sandhya Prabhu, Santosh Kinii, Geeta Shetty, Murulidhar Rao Gundibail, Manjunath Hebbar, Bharati Chandrashekar, Sujal Satish, Rakesh Jogi, and Vasudev Bhat Parampalli were present.
Chief executive officer of the Ashray Charitable Trust, K Raghavendra Kini, conducted the programme. Pejawar seer honoured Rajagopal Acharya and his wife, the owners of Lakshmi Electricals, who provided financial assistance to the house. Mallaashree Bhat Padigar and family members were present at the housewarming.
