Mumbai, March 11: Charkop Kannadigara Balaga held their special meeting presided over by temporary committee president Bhasker V Shetty and under the leadership of honorary president Gopala C Shetty, Mumbai north block MP.
Bhasker V Shetty and Gopal C Shetty inaugurated the meeting. Bhasker V Shetty explained the intention of the meeting to the gathering.
MP Gopal C Shetty said that old and new committee members should work and think about the future of the Balaga and assured his cooperation to the new committee.
Trust member Bhasker Sarapady, Jaya C Shetty, members Shanker D Poojary, internal auditor Sadashiva C Poojary, advocate Gurulinga Samagonda, Karunaker Kannarpady and Shivayogi Sannamane were on the dais. Shashidhar Hegde, Veena Deepak Suvarna and others gave suggestions for the new committee. Karunaker Kannarpady conducted elections and announced the list of the new committee.
New office bearers elected for the period 2024-2027 were Gopal C Shetty – honorary president, Ravindra M Shetty, Palli Mayabettuguthu – presidents, Avinash Shetty – vice president, Guruprakash M Kotian – honorary chief secretary, Rajivi Ramesh Kotian – honorary treasurer, Shivayogi Sannamane – joint secretary, Rashmi R Acharya – joint treasurer, executive committee members Mohan S Shetty, Vijayalakshmi S Shetty, special advisor, advocate Gurulinga Samagonda, Shashidhar S Hegde, Karunaker Kannarpadi, Prashanth M Bhat and Manjunath G Bannur – former presidents, Padmavati Bhasker Shetty – ladies wing president, Shanta N Udupa – convener ladies wing, Gopala Trasi – president, literature and cultural committee, Sadashiva C Poojary – internal auditor, Vinay Bhat – external auditor.
Yanuna Salian, Rashmi Acharya and Rajivi Kotian sang a prayer. Bhasker Sarapady welcomed. Jaya C Shetty and Padmavati B Shetty felicitated the dignitaries. Ramesh Bangera, Mohan Shetty, Vani Samagonda, Kaushik Bangera cooperated. Shivayogi Sannamane compered the meeting and proposed vote of thanks. The meeting concluded after the national anthem.
