Mumbai, Mar 2: Ganiga Samaja Mumbai office bearers under the leadership of its president B V Rao visited the Punarvas education society special school, Goregaon west on March 1.
Principal of the school, Shubhangi Pawar took them to the classrooms of three year old to 18 year old, explained to them the activities and current condition of the school.
B V Rao requested that the Ganiga community should come forward to conduct many such programmes. The school was started by P N Modak with two students in 1981.
After spending about three hours with the specially abled children, Ganiga samaja decided to bear the annual expenditure of three children in the school.
GSM vice president Gopalakrishna Ganiga, secretary Gangadhar Ganiga, joint secretary Jagadish Ganiga, youth wing president Ganesh Kutpady, Vidyodaya samithi president Dinesh Rao, committee members Rajesh Kutpady, Ramesh Ganiga, Madhav Ganiga, Nagaraj Ganiga, master Yuvan Rajesh and Baby Dhruthi Ganesh spoke to the school children.
