Mangaluru, Feb 23: In a remarkable achievement, Anil John Sequeira, hailing from Borimar in Bantwal taluk, has secured success in the Karnataka Civil Judge Examination 2023, clearing the Prelims, Mains, and the interview at the young age of 25. This makes him the youngest Civil Judge (Judicial Magistrate) in the state of Karnataka.
Anil, a BBA LLB graduate from SDM Law College, Mangaluru, has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout his educational journey. He began his education at St Joseph Higher Primary School in Borimar, followed by Karnataka High School in Mani for his high school studies. His pre-university education was completed at St Philomena P. U College, Puttur.
The young achiever has been an active member of the Mangalore Bar Association, where he has been practicing as a civil lawyer alongside legal professionals Deepak D'Souza and Naveen S Pais.
Anil's journey to success reflects not only his academic prowess but also his active involvement in various leadership roles. During his high school years, he served as the School People Leader, showcasing early leadership qualities.
In his college years at SDM Law College, Anil continued his leadership roles, serving as the class representative for two consecutive years. He also played a crucial role as the coordinator of the Library Advisory Committee during his time at the law college.
Apart from his academic and professional achievements, Anil Sequeira served as the President of ICYM (Indian Catholic Youth Movement) of Mangalore Diocese in the year 2022.
Anil's success in clearing the Karnataka Civil Judge Examination in his second attempt at the age of 25 is a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and passion for the legal profession. His journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring legal professionals, especially in the Mangaluru region.
