Kundapur, Sep 1: The 19th annual general body meeting of Rosary Credit Co-operative Society was held at Akshata auditorium of Hariprasad Hotel here, recently.
Kundapur deanery vicar Fr Alban D’Souza, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that the Society has earned more profit than the preceding year owing to the efficiency of the board of directors.
Society chairman Vinay Pais presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Society has earned a net profit of Rs 7.35 lac and will give a dividend of 13 percent to shareholders. He added that it was decided that a floor will be built on the existing building of the Society as well as to buy a plot to construct a building for the Society’s branch in Byndoor.
The Society’s directors Martin Dias, Theodore D’Mello, Felix D’Silva, Jacob D’Souza, and Philip D’Costa were present on the occasion.
The Society’s vice-president Pricilla Menezes welcomed the gathering. Chief executive officer presented the annual report. Director Stany D’Almeida proposed the vote of thanks while director Basil D’Souza compered the programme.
