Puttur: Bus-Car Accident - One Dies, Two Injured

Puttur, Aug 30: In an accident that occurred near Mannagundi forest depot on Nelyadi-Periyashanti Road on national highway on Monday August 29, a person lost his life, while two others sustained grievous injuries.

Gopalakrishna (58) from Bejai Kapikad, Mangalore, died in the incident. Parimala (52) and Ashwin (26) from Kapikad, were injured. Both of them are being treated in a private hospital in Mangalore.

Reportedly, the KSRTC bus bound for Holenarasipur, hit the car while trying to overtake a truck. The car was coming to Mangalore.
