Kasargod: PU Student Commits Suicide

Kasargod, Aug 24: The body of a girl student studying in PU class was found hanging from the roof of her home here on Tuesday August 23. She has been identified as Kamakshi H Shenoy (17), daughter of Haridas Shenoy and Netravati, living on Sharadamba Road here.

She was studying in second PU class of Nellikunje higher secondary school. Although no specific reasons for her decision to commit suicide could be ascertained, it is suspected that she was frustrated over her nagging illness since some time.

A case was registered at the town police station here in this connection.
