Mumbai, Oct 11: Mysore association library auditorium on October 8, witnessed the release of two Kannada books written by Srinivas Jokatte. The author has written 39 books prior to this. The 40th book
titled Devarugala Nyayalaya mathu Smashanadalli nratya was published by Srirama Prakashana, Mandya and the 41st book titled Elligo Payana Yavudo Daari was published by Sahitya Suggi Prakashana, Bengaluru.
Srinivas P Safalya, president of Safalya Seva Sangha Mumbai spoke after releasing the 40th book. BSKB association president Dr Suresh S Rao presided over and inaugurated the programme.
Mumbai high court advocate R M Bhandary released the 41st book by the author. The book has 47 articles.
Srinivas Jokatte said that each newspaper has a different principle and we have to send them articles remembering them. “Publishing the articles so that they reach the people is important for us,” he said.
Jayalakshmi Jokatte was present. Team I Lesa Bengaluru and Karnataka sangha Mumbai Kala Bharati team conducted the programme. Suri Marnad and well known singer, dramatist Avinash Kamath compered the programme. Mohan Marnad, Kripa Poojary, Lathesh Poojary, Suvid Marnad Akshara Kamath, Swara Marnad, Rian and Mukul cooperated. Prakash Pavanje sang a song of I Lesa.
