Mangaluru: Mount Carmel students journey into colourful & magical world of butterflies

Media Release

Mangaluru, Oct 3: The students of grade IV of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru were excited, enthused and energized to work on the project 'Life of a Butterfly'. The introduction presented by the teachers through a PPT gave the students an insight to the different stages in the life of a butterfly. They also had the joy of watching butterflies in the nature around the school campus. This was followed by exhibiting their learning through art in the form of drawing, craft, songs and acting. They spiked the project by taking part in the essay writing competition. This was followed by a talk on biodiversity. A few of the parents supported this project by taking their wards to the butterfly park at Moodbidri.

It was indeed heartwarming to see the students enthused and energetic as they took part in the project and learn the life cycle of a butterfly, as well as lessons for life from the butterfly.
