Udupi: Protests Held in Support of Anna Hazare

Udupi, Aug 17: A symbolic protest was held at Inna village, near here, on Tuesday August 16 in support of Anna Hazare’s struggle against corruption.
 
Maila Srinivas Bhat, Ramanna Shetty, Inna Vishvanat Bhat, Shekar Shetty, Kanjarakatte auto rickshaw owners / drivers Association president Tulsidas Shetty, Sadanand Poojary, Deepak Kotian, Sanjeev Shetty, Edward D’Souza, Mohammed Rafiq, Satish Kulal, Rajeev, Sudhakar, Vasant Acharya, Raja Bhat, and Sandhya were present on the occasion.


The district Nagarika Samiti also staged a protest rally from MGM College to deputy commissioner’s office condemning the arrest of Anna Hazare here, on Tuesday August 16.
 
Samiti secretary Nityanand Olakadu, alongwith the students of MGM College and Upendra Pai Memorial College participated in the protest rally.

    Congratulations to the students of Udupi who took a non violent procession against the arrest of great Anna Hazare who seems to be second Gandhi. My request to the students of Udupi is that they should not stop the agitation. It should be continued upto the success. Otherwise the agitation so far done will be a waste.
