Bhatkal, Aug 14: Bhatkal student Shridhar Shyamu Baidamane won gold medal in 400 meter hurdles at the 27th Karnataka State Athletics Event held recently in Bangalore.
Shridhar, a BA student from SDM College, Ujire clocked 56.6 sec to emerge winner in 400 meter hurdles race.
It may be interesting to note that last year also Shridhar won the state-level competition and was selected for national-level event.
