New Delhi, Aug 10 (IANS) German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz launched the new generation of its SLK brand car SLK 350 priced at Rs.61.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

"The New SLK 350 is one of the most revolutionary products to come from the stable of Mercedes-Benz," said Debashis Mitra, director sales and marketing, Mercedes-Benz India.

According to Mitra, the next generation of the car incorporates powerful innovative features coupled with state of the art technology.

"The car proves not just to be an exhilarating experience to the driver but also a visual delight, consolidating its status as a benchmark product world over."

The car is powered by a V6 engine with a capacity of 3.498 cc and 306hp output with 360Nm torque. The car also comes with with symmetrically arranged headlamps and bumpers.

"With authentic sporty trimmings, sweeping lines and stylish seating mechanisms, the interiors of the SLK have been intricately crafted to offer the pinnacle in luxury and comfort," the company said in a statement.
