Bangalore, Aug 3: Soon after Yeddyurappa-backed Sadananda Gowda being voted as the new chief minister of Karnataka, reports have now come in that 'all is not well' within the BJP.
Within minutes of being declared the winner of the secret ballot, the BJP high command offered the post of deputy CM to Jagadish Shettar who lost the ballot.
But Shettar has reportedly refused to work under Sadananda Gowda as deputy CM and rejected the offer.
The high command is trying convince Shettar to accept the offer and strengthen the party in Karnataka.
