Mangaluru: PTA meet held at Ladyhill Victoria PU College

Mangaluru, Aug 4: The annual parent teacher student meeting was organised on August 3 in the school auditorium. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of chief guest Karthik S Kateel and Shobhalatha Suresh (founders of Swaraksha for Women Trust), principal Sr Ujvala A C, PTA vice president Jayaram Karandoor, staff coordinator Vanitha along with the teaching faculty and the parents who graced the assemblage with their wards.

The day effectively engaged the audience with two sessions after a blissful prayer service. The morning session was for both parents and students in which the guest speakers discussed the importance of study techniques to score better, role of behaviour and discipline in students life and also parents to be observant and an ideal guide to their ward along with love and friendliness in their relationship.

The session in the noon was only for pupils as it had the demonstration of some self defence skills to face the perilous moments with fearless confidence. Karthik and his mother Shobhalatha Suresh engrossed the young girls with some easy tactics to handle the troubling situations.

The programme was planned with the guidance of staff conveners Astel Neema Karkada and Surakshitha G Lakshmi Bai of II commerce welcomed the guests and the audience. Asiya Afreena and Khadija Suhana of II science thanked the gathering. The emcee of the day was Maliha Banu of II Science and Fathima Shazia of I commerce.
